Taking a break from their usual orchestral obligations will be the TSO's concert master Jonathan Crow; Eric Nowlin, assistant principal violist; Andrew Wan, MSO's concert master; Brain Manker, principal cello. Formed in 2009, it didn't take long for it to be lauded internationally for its ravishingly beautiful tone and for extraordinary technical skills and musicianship. Only one week after their first rehearsal, their first concert and was pronounced "sweet, balanced and technically unassailable" by Arthur Kaptainis of the Montreal Gazette.
