Cities Centre is presenting a series of public forums on the topic of governance, with special reference to Toronto. The series of talks, pairing a practitioner and an academic, seeks to clarify the formal and informal ways in which large and presently underutilized opportunities for improvement in governance exist in Toronto. October's forum will investigate the role of the city councillor, and how the changes from amalgamation drastically changed the dynamic on council.
