Artist Talk - Khosro Berahmandi

Artist talk presented by Khosro Berahmandi for the exhibition: Seven Red Holes. About the Artist: Khosro Berahmandi is a painter of Iranian origin. He moved to Canada in 1983 and lives and works in Montreal. Khosro studied Visual Arts at Concordia University in Montreal and University of Paris VIII. An accomplished and prolific artist, Khosro Berahmandi has held over forty solo and group exhibitions over the past thirty years in Canada, the United States and Europe. He has also engaged in many multidisciplinary art projects with other artists in Canada and the United States. Along with his art, Khosro works as the artistic director of the Festival Accès Asie of Montreal that celebrates Asian Heritage Month in Canada. The art of Khosro Berahmandi reveals a singular universe from which emerges his prodigious, captivating and personal mythology.
