Meaghan Hyckie: Opening Reception Presented by : Montgomery's Inn Dates: November 13, 2016 Event Time(s): 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Website: https://www.facebook.com/events/531162683749994/ Meaghan's imagery investigates the perception of space using perspective techniques, and attempts to imbue these formal interests with emotional resonance, ranging from dread to love. The drawings in the exhibition were created during a recent residency at the Banff Centre. They are part of an ongoing series exploring iconic Canadian architectural spaces, jointly funded by the Ontario Arts Council and the Canada Council for the Arts. Meagan's work has been exhibited in the United Kingdom and Canada, most recently with Olga Korper Gallery in Toronto. Montgomery's Inn invites you to join us in the Briarly Room throughout late November - early December to enjoy an exhibit that explores the Wartime Houses built in and around Avon Park. .
