Luis Mario Ochoa & the Humber College Latin Big Band – Cuban Music of the 1950's. Mambo, Cha-Cha & Boleros 22 member (all students) big band – 5 saxes, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, 4 percussionists, piano, bass, 2 vocalists, bandleader – Luis Mario Ochoa. Producer, composer, arranger and band leader Luis Mario Ochoa is the foremost proponent of Cuban music in Canada. He also teaches at the renowned Humber College Institute, where he conducts a Latin Jazz combo and the Humber Latin Big Band.
