Tuesday, 26 November 2024 - In 2025, the Cultural Hotspot celebrates Jane and Finch for a second straight year, highlighting its cultural significance and creative contributions to Toronto. Share your ideas about the community-based arts projects you'd like to see in Jane and Finch and learn about funding opportunities. The program area includes Steeles Avenue to the north, Wilson Avenue to the south, Weston Road to the west and Keele Street to the east and postal codes M3N, M3M, M3L and M3J.
The Cultural Hotspot's SPARK & Signature Project funding enables new, emerging or established local arts and community organizations to collaborate with City of Toronto's Arts & Culture Services to develop and deliver programming that celebrates community and culture. Successful funding applicants will receive up to $20,000 to carry out a Signature Project, or $7,500 for a SPARK Project. Additional funds may be accessed for specific accessibility costs and/or youth job placement. - -
