Saturday 20 July 2024 - Talented participants of JAYU's iAM Mural Painting Program at Black Creek Community Farm will be live-painting a mural at the 12th Annual Farm Festival event. It's not just about art; it's a celebration of our community's creativity and talent.
JAYU's iAM Programs provide human rights and arts training for equity-deserving youth. Participants of the multi-week programs receive mentorship from some of Toronto's most talented artists, activists, and educators. As part of the iAM Mural Painting Program, youth connected with artist and mentor Curtia Wright, receiving mentorship during weekly mural painting sessions to empower them to share their human rights stories. This program culminates in a mural painted together at the Black Creek Community Farm's 12th Annual Farm Festival.
