Saturday 4 May 2024 - Join City of Toronto staff for a tour of the Entertainment District that identifies and discusses sensors used in the public realm. These include tools that monitor air quality, traffic flow and safety, and building and public space security. Learn about data-collection, digital rights, privacy, the “internet of things”, digital transformation and consent. Attendees are encouraged to come prepared with questions and ideas about the use of sensors operated by the City of Toronto as they gain a deeper understanding of the use of technology in our city.
