This wry comedy about two couples gambling with fidelity and desire is one of the greatest works ever written about human relationships. Since 1980, the Ensemble Studio has fostered the development of opera in Canada as the country's premier training program for young opera professionals. Its many graduates include some of today's most esteemed performers, including Ben Heppner, Isabel Bayrakdarian and Joseph Kaiser.
