Join the Friends of Withrow Park & the Withrow Park Farmers' Market for our first Stone Soup Community Lunch & Fresh Food Drive for the Eastview Neighbourhood Community Centre food bank. Shop at the farmers' market in the morning, then donate a vegetable to the communal pot. Buy a bunch of carrots, some potatoes, onions or other less perishable vegetable for donation to the food bank, & join in for lunch from 11 AM to 1 PM. This event has been graciously supported by the Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation, Treasure Island Toys, & Lisa Shamai Cuisiniere. Location:Withrow Park Danforth Avenue and Carlaw Avenue Public Transit:The closest subway stops are Chester station to the west, & Pape to the east. The farmers' market is at the north-east end of the park.
