She is a founding member and co-curator/organizer of the 7a*11d International Festival of Performance Art, and is the current Artistic + Administrative Director of FADO Performance Art Centre. Her work has been presented in galleries, theatre and performance festivals internationally. Shannon's most recent work plays with the audience's perception of the performance through the manipulation of its linear structure, formal qualities, and sometimes by employing the use of "invisible" materials. Cochrane will speak about the exhibition Marat Sade Bohnice, on view at The Power Plant from 15 December 2012 - 5 May 2013.
