The out-and-back Half Marathon route takes you through aviation history through newly renovated Downsview Park, past old hangars and the base and then brings you into the present with aircraft displayed throughout the airport. Participants of both events will enjoy a professionally organized event with 'bibtag' timing, water stations, free parking, race kit, souvenir running hat, finisher medal, post-race 'chow' and more. There is a brief Remembrance Day ceremony just before the race start. The event supports two excellent local charities... Sick Kids Foundation and the Toronto Military Family Resource Centre.
