Revolutionary Sundays/Centre for Incidental Activisms CIA Exhibition Opening Presented by Art Gallery of York University Date: January 19, 2011 Time: 06:00 PM to 09:00 PM Price range: Free This winter the Cuban Revolution meets the CIA in two unconventional exhibitions that open Wednesday, January 19, 2011 from 6-9 pm at the Art Gallery of York University. There are two sides to every story - especially at the AGYU, where stories always both oppose and compliment one another. There are two sides to the stories told by these exhibitions: one about the Cuban Revolution and the other about the role of the CIA - but not the one you know. Revolutionary Sundays presents the story of the Cuban Revolution as seen through the lens of one of its revolutionary photographers, Gilberto Ante. Meanwhile, the CIA presents a back-story, the unexpected back-story of the CIA and its covert role in Cuba.
