The Real Inspector Hound / After Magritte

Alumnae Theatre Company presents two one-act comedies by famed British playwright Tom Stoppard - presented together for a night of hilarity.
In “The Real Inspector Hound”, two rival theatre critics become involved in the onstage action of the ludicrously bad murder/mystery they are watching. The surreal “After Magritte” gradually becomes comprehensible, as a pair of bumbling coppers attempt to solve a supposed crime involving a ballroom-dancing couple and a tuba-playing woman.

Co-directed by Ellen Green and Barbara Larose. “After Magritte” features Andrea Brown, Patrick Brown, Rob Candy, Susan Wilson and Adrian Yearwood. “The Real Inspector Hound” features Rob Candy, Andy Fraser, Richard Jones, Leeman Kessler, Scott Moore, Derek Perks, Brenda Somers, and Laura Vincent.

PERFORMANCES: January 25 - February 5, 2011. Wed - Sat at 8pm; Sun 2pm.
Following the matinee on Sunday January 30, there will be a Talkback with directors & cast.
